One on One Discipleship

We believe discipleship is one of the lifebloods of a Christian’s walk with God.

Who are you discipling? Who is discipling you? No matter where you are on your faith journey, there is a huge need for you to jump in and disciple/be discipled.

New or Non Believer Class

New to faith? Not sure what you believe? Still trying to figure out the basics? Join us for an eight week group where we’ll go through the foundations of a faith in Jesus.

This group meets on Monday nights, starting on September 23rd and running to mid-November.

Discipleship Lunch

Discipleship is more like a caravan than a guided hike. We’re all on this faith journey together, sharing with and learning from one another. If you’re interested in discipling or mentoring others, you’re invited to a quarterly Discipleship Lunch.

These gatherings will be a time to ask questions, learn from one another, and receive practical training. The next Discipleship Lunch is on Sunday, October 6th, and anyone who is interested in discipling others is welcome.

Skeptics and Questions

Have questions? What about doubt? Not sure what you think about faith? Looking for a place to chat with others and toss things around?

Our Skeptics and Questions group, led by Zach Kreeger, meets starting the week of September 16th and runs for 6 weeks. All are welcome!

Racial Justice

Discovery's Racial Justice Leadership Team's mission is to build awareness and promote racial justice advocacy grounded in theology and a deep and growing faith in Jesus.

This fall we have:

One Day Opportunities:

  • Book Club: “How to Human” by Carlos Whittaker - September 15

  • Racial Justice Evening Prayer Labyrinth Walk - September 26

Six-Week Opportunity (Virtual):

  • Every other Monday night from Aug. 26 - Nov 4

  • Every Wednesday evening from Oct 2 - Nov 6

LeadershiP Community

Join us for 8 weeks as we dive into the world of anxiety, leadership, wiring, and the effect that those things have on how we lead and learn.

These groups will go through curriculum created by Steve Cuss and Capable Life. Cohorts run from mid-September to early-November with an optional extra Q&A in November.
